Our first opening during the April first Thursday in Portland was a great success. We were happy to see so many people and to get such great feedback from everyone. We're looking forward to our next opening May 5!
Artist's Reception: Oceanic - Kinetic and Abstract Works by Chris Cole.
Chris will be unveiling his newest kinetic piece as well as several new paintings. April 7-30, 2011.

By exploring the relationship between the industrial and natural worlds, human progress and humanity’s excesses, Chris creates sculptures and paintings which depict immense beauty overlaid with an industrial superstructure. Chris welds and constructs intricate, metal, and kinetic sculptures which portray the regression from mechanism back to organism. As a departure from the laws of physics Chris is able to investigate a blend of organism and mechanism through is acrylic and oil paintings.
